This workshop is for my students that have birthed a Sacred Drum with me

& would like to know how to work with the drum personally.

What to Bring

A journal and pen for notes and reflections.

Water to keep hydrated (tea & coffee is provided throughout the day).

Morning Session (10AM - 12PM)

Introduction

Overview of the relevance of shamanic drum.

Importance of protection in shamanic work.

Techniques for creating a protective space (e.g. visualisation, sacred smoke).

Introduction to the Sacred Drum

Now it’s time to look at how to care for and how you can use your beautiful

Sacred Drum for personal shamanic journeying.

First Journey: Sacred Space

Guided Journey with the Sacred Drum

to create and connect to your sacred space.

Second Journey: Connecting with Spirit Guides & Ancestors

Journey with the sacred drum.

Focus on connecting with personal spirit guides and ancestors.

Sharing insights and experiences from the journeys.

Third Journey: Discovering Spirit Animals

Journey with the sacred drum to meet your spirit animal.

Sharing insights and experiences from the journeys.

Fourth Journey: Discovering The Healing Benefits

Understanding what a true connection with your drum can do for you.

​

Mini Journeys:

Each participant takes it in turns to drum for the group.

You journey on a card you pull.

​

Integration and Reflections

Sharing insights and experiences from the journeys.

Discussing how to integrate these experiences into daily life.

Journaling prompts for personal reflection.

Final thoughts on continuing the practice of shamanic journeying.
